Community Recycling Programs

The benefits of community recycling programs are unlimited. Together, we can all work towards a lower carbon footprint and a more conscientious, eco-friendly community. As part of this effort, I will be tracking the use of the newly implemented recycling program at MOJH. The more we can recycle paper and cardboard, the better off our community will be in the long-term as carbon emissions lower, indirectly improving air quality, oil consumption, and deforestation.

I will be tracking how much each teacher recycles during the course of one academic year, and I will use a predictive algorithm coded through SPSS to estimate the % decreased carbon footprint of MOJH. This project will serve as an example for students who are participating in the MOJH science fair this year.
